Every day, millions of creative people — disabled, poor, or both — get locked out of the tools they need to make things. Not because they lack talent. Not because they lack vision. Because some engineer in a nice chair designed an interface that requires two working hands, a $3,000 computer, and a brain that doesn't seize when overstimulated.

Poverty is a preventable disability. When creative software costs thousands and requires expensive hardware, money becomes another alligator eating another kid's birds.

Birds and alligators don't dance. They never will. But the birds are fast, and the kids are mages, and together they're learning to fly.
