PhrogAble ๐Ÿธ

We're building a foundation to put creative tools into the hands of people who've been locked out โ€” disabled, poor, or both. Technology should adapt to people, not the other way around.

Here's Doug to tell you why he's passionate about this.

The Problem Is Not Our Kids

Every day, millions of creative people โ€” disabled, poor, or both โ€” get locked out of the tools they need to make things. Not because they lack talent. Not because they lack vision. Because some engineer in a nice chair designed an interface that requires two working hands, a $3,000 computer, and a brain that doesn't seize when overstimulated.

"Some mute inglorious Milton here may rest." โ€” Thomas Gray, 1751

We're still resting them.

Poverty is a preventable disability. When creative software costs thousands and requires expensive hardware, money becomes another alligator eating another kid's birds.

We're done waiting for someone else to fix this.

What PhrogAble Builds

Right now:

Where we're going:

The Pond

PhrogAble lives in a mythology we built with our kids.

Alligators are disabilities and barriers โ€” real predators that never stop hunting. They want to eat your abilities. No sugar coating. No "learning to love your challenges." Alligators bite.

Birds are your abilities โ€” quick, clever, sometimes erratic. They harry the alligators, go around them, fly over them. An owl for vision. A cardinal for courage. A hummingbird for fierce focus. A dove for hope โ€” because friends can send you hope-doves when your own birds are too tired to fly.

The Pond sometimes offers grace โ€” a lily pad to rest on, a burst of beauty, a moment of laughter, a shallow spot where the alligators can't reach. Like a curb cut. Like a reserved seat. Like technology that actually works.

Birds and alligators don't dance. They never will. But the birds are fast, and the kids are mages, and together they're learning to fly.
